WISDP has been established as a professional organization to provide membership to professionals who will be well-versed in sustainable development planning. Membership categories are listed as follows:

Corporate Member

  • Entry Requirements: Corporation having made contribution to sustainable development and one of its senior management members being a Certified Sustainable Development Planner (CSDP)
  • Application Fee: 1,000 HKD
  • Annual Subscription: 18,000 HKD (8,000HKD for SME only)
  • Level of Awards: Level 3
  • Designation: CSDC

  • Professional Selection: Panel interview

The Ten Principles & Four Actions

Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and

Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;

Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;

Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and

Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;

Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and

Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

  • Professional Selection: Panel interview

  • Entry Requirements: Fellow Candidate having acquired 12 years of experience in sustainable development planning and made contributions to the advancement of WISDP

  • Entry Requirements: Applicant with a first degree or equivalent who has acquired professional training in sustainable development planning or similar training; and having 1~2 years of experience in sustainable development planning

  • Entry Eligibility: Open for application

  • Entry Requirements: Applicant having basic knowledge & experience in sustainable development

Logo Usage Guideline

Corporate Member

Certified Sustainable Development Corporation (CSDC)

CSDC is allowed to use CSDC’s logo and designation title when annual membership renewal is approved. CSDC is entitled to display the designation title “CSDC” or “Certified Sustainable Development Corporation” on business card.
