The World Institute of Sustainable Development Planners
The World Institute of Sustainable Development Planners ( WISDP) is a professional association that advocates the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promotes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Dedicated to collaborating on the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) Global Sustainable Development Goals Partnership Project (registration number: 26908). The Institute provides Certified Sustainable Development Planner (CSDP) certification and Certified Sustainable Development Company (CSDC) certification for professionals in the corporate, management, education, public, and non-governmental organization sectors.
China Environment Publishing Group
China Environment Publishing Group is a state-owned publishing group directly under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of The People’s Republic of China, focusing on publishing in the fields of environment, ecology, resources, and energy. The group has represented China multiple times at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) and held side forums. Last year, it was listed as one of the outstanding side forum unit in the “China Pavilion” at COP28, playing an important role in the field of environmental publishing in China.
Sun Yat-sen University
Sun Yat-sen University is a comprehensive national key university co-established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and the Guangdong Province. It is one of the oldest universities in China and is renowned both domestically and internationally. It is also one of China’s renowned “Double First-Class” universities.
Eligibility
• All organisations from the public or private sector are eligible to apply.
• Participants MUST hold a HKSAR passport OR The People Republic of China’s Passport
Participation Fees
$150,000 per participating organization; • Maximum 2 representatives per organization; |
Fees covers*: • Full access to all conference sessions throughout COP29 *Other expenses such as airfare, lodging, visa application, exhibit costs, local transportation costs, meal expenses, travel insurance, etc., are to be borne by your organization. |
Application Method
Make sure to read the Terms and Condition, then:
1. Complete the Online application form and
2. Complete the Confirmation Form and
3. Enclose a Company Profile Report covering its initiatives and achievements in sustainable development and Climate Action.
Selection Process and Criteria
1) Submit Online Application form and all relevant materials |
2) Review of Submissions by Secretariat for Completeness |
3) Screening by committee, the selection criteria are as follows:* • Demonstrating competitive advantages in international trade through innovation and technology; *Due to the limited number of positions available, the committee will prioritize organisations that won “The 2023 Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation and Technology Award”, when screening applicants with comparable profiles. |
4) Interview with Committee or Submission of Supplementary Materials (if needed) |
